We had a fantastic stay at this charming hotel. The location was perfect, right at the entrance to the most interesting part of the village. The rooms were beautifully decorated with attention to detail, creating a cozy and welcoming atmosphere. We were impressed with the care the owners put into maintaining the property. The Schafbergbahn and ship station were conveniently close, making it easy to explore St Wolfgang. The breakfast was delicious, and our family thoroughly enjoyed our time here. we highly recommend this hotel.

The location of the hotel was perfect, right in front of the bus stop, making it easy to explore nearby towns. The river and train station were also a short walk away, providing even more transportation options. The hotel's peaceful and quiet surroundings made for a deep and restful sleep. The cleanliness of the hotel was exceptional, with plenty of towels provided. The well-equipped kitchen in our room made it easy to cook and feel at home. The spacious and comfortable rooms, along with the clean and pleasant bathrooms, added to the overall positive experience. The owner of the hotel was incredibly kind, helpful, and professional, offering detailed restaurant recommendations and taking care of our luggage. The attention to detail and thoughtful service truly set the owner apart. The decoration throughout the hotel was charming and reflected the spirit of Austrian Gasthöfe. The communication with the staff was prompt and helpful. we had a wonderful stay and highly recommend this hotel.

The room was immaculately clean and stylish, with central heating, a TV set, and a cozy sitting area. the bed was exceptionally comfortable. the food was delicious, especially the breakfast. the hotel is conveniently located next to a great restaurant and offers lovely inner courtyard views. Checking in was easy, and the prices were reasonable. Free Wi-Fi was provided throughout the hotel.

One aspect that could be improved was the noise coming from the rooms facing the public stairs.

Perfect location for exploring St. Wolfgang. Close to bus stop, river, train station, and market. Peaceful and quiet. Helpful and professional owner. Well-decorated and feels like home.

We had a good time staying at a hotel in the heart of a beautiful town. the location was perfect, with easy access to everything - close to the main street for shopping and restaurants, and the lake side for water activities. the room was comfortable, with a well-appointed bathroom. the service was good, and we enjoyed the breakfast spread.

We were disappointed with the lack of amenities. While the building itself was lovely, there was no bar or restaurant on site to enjoy.

We had a delightful Christmas stay. the cozy rooms were festively decorated and meticulously maintained. the location was perfect, right in the heart of town and close to key attractions. We enjoyed the sumptuous breakfast buffet and warm, friendly service from the staff.

The hotel lacked a private car, parking facility, so we had to use a public pay, park next door. there was no written communication about the internet user, password in the room or at the unstaffed afternoon reception desk, which was inconvenient.

Our room at Platzhirsch Zur Alten Wagnerei was cozy and comfortable, with a homely atmosphere. The wooden furniture and individually themed rooms added a charming touch.

Personally, I found the small bathroom accessible only from the bedroom to be a bit inconvenient. However, some might still find it suitable for their needs.
